14 days...

I can't believe that in 14 days I will be be on a plane to Barcelona for 4 months. It's completely surreal to me. I mean, I've never been outside the country a day in my life, let alone for 4 months! 

I'm excited to take international business classes in Spain (in marketing and management) and to meet new people and travel as much as possible. (My Pinterest "Places I Want to Go Next Semester" board has gotten quite extensive...http://pinterest.com/ashlaywroight/places-i-want-to-go-next-semester/). But most of all I just want to relax, go with the flow, and be open to any and every new experience that comes my way. 

Besides studying, traveling, and meeting people, I'd say my other main goal is to not get pick-pocketed. I've heard at least 25 times how pick-pocketing is a big problem in Barcelona and, let's be honest, I lose enough things on my own without having people steal from me. =/ 

While I know I'm going to have the time of my life in Barcelona, I know I'll miss everyone back here, too (shoutout to the Traphouse ladies), so I plan on updating this blog at least once a week to keep everyone in the loop (who wants to be) and to capture these next four months of memories in writing so I'll never forget them. Feel free to post comments and/or suggestions along the way!
